COVID-19 Response

Seattle University’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Seattle University (SU) will no longer require students, faculty and staff to provide documentation of their COVID-19 vaccinations.

However, the university strongly encourages all members of the campus community to stay up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines and receive any recommended booster dose(s) when eligible to do so. Visit CDC for more information.

Throughout the COVID pandemic, Seattle University has followed public health guidance. SU’s policies align with current local, state and federal guidelines. Seattle University will continue to monitor public health guidance and make any adjustments that might be needed to our COVID protocols.

This page will be updated as needed if policies or guidance change.

What to do after COVID exposure

While we are no longer requiring you to report positive COVID results, we recommend following the Washington State guidelines for what to do after exposure, which are listed on their website.

Masks are no longer required on campus, but you are free to continue wearing a face covering if you choose to. Please respect the choice of individuals who continue wearing a face covering.

Let’s continue to be supportive of and compassionate to one another as we each navigate COVID and determine what is best or necessary for us individually.
